  • YouTube is most popular with those over 50 years of age.

If you are selling items that are geared toward college-aged adults, Instagram is likely your best platform, however if you are selling items geared to empty-nesters or retirees your efforts are best spent on YouTube.

Each Social Network specializes in something.  Instagram is great for companies that want to showcase their products visually, Facebook is great to reach a large audience or to very specifically target a particular demographic, Snapchat is a great way to reach school-aged children.
