I was at my son’s little league game in Joliet this weekend. I stopped to speak with the woman who runs the information table and noticed she was wearing a visor with a client’s name on it. I commented on her hat and she explained she had worked at this company a while ago and that the owner was a good friend of hers. I told her that our company, The Word Pro, handled the Social Media Marketing for the company.
She told me that she loved the Facebook updates, watched for them and it reminded her why she loved the company and that she needed to go there. Proof that status updates work – while this is only one person as an example it does show that Facebook Users are engaged in the Business Pages they follow and this particular Friend generates revenue for my client.
